Kadapa : Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the government was contemplating to increase technical educational institutions to provide qualitative education to rural youth.
Addressing the students at during the convocation of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies in R K Valley on Wednesday, he said people have to depend on technology as IT would be the future.
Calling for a knowledge society, the Chief Minister said, “A society enabled and empowered by technology is a society ready to meet the challenges of the future.”
Stating that developing IT was his vision, Naidu informed that the government was focusing on seamless communication network, besides Internet of Things (IOT). He lauded RGUKT chancellor D Raj Reddy for providing the technical education to the rural youth. “We have spent Rs 330 crore for setting up Fiber Grid. Every house in the State will get internet, besides digital TV network and others,” he informed.
