APSSDC to come up with new professional skill development centers soon

Due to the recession in the country, there has been a drastic rise in unemployment, and in spite of having higher qualifications, the lack of skills has been the biggest problem in getting jobs. AP State Skills Development Corporation (APSSDC) is taking steps to train young people with the skills needed. It has already trained and employed thousands of people in various disciplines. The training has been provided by the training partners so far.

“We will set up professional development centres in 25 Parliament seats in 13 districts of the state.” APSSDC chairman said.

“Skills training program provides employment opportunities. We have already enrolled with various companies, government agencies and governments to provide employment and training. Foreign High Commissioners and Deputy High Commissioners are coming forward. We are discussing with them and making good decisions. We will start new government training centres soon. Details of the centres have been sent for government approval.” the official asserted.
