In the meeting, he suggested to incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance the program’s outcomes, stressing the importance of providing training to enumerators and raising awareness among the youth.
As part of the Census, the government will identify youth with interests in various sectors, provide them with specialized training, and issue certifications in collaboration with reputed organizations. These certifications are expected to increase job prospects not only within the state but also through platforms like Naukri.com and LinkedIn, and even in other states and countries.
The minister further recommended making provisions for students pursuing education outside the state and abroad to register their details online. The ultimate aim of the Skill Census is to digitize the skills of the youth and open up better opportunities for them.
During the meeting, it was decided to finalize the operational procedures at an upcoming session to be chaired by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
IT and Electronics Secretary Saurabh Gaur, Skill Development MD G Ganesh Kumar, NACK ADG Dinesh Kumar, CDAP CEO Srinivasulu, and OmCap MD Kranti, attended the meeting.
