Assam government to provide subsidy of Rs 1.7 lakh for admission in North East Skill Centre

Assam : Talking to AIR, Mission Director of the Assam Skill Development Mission AP Tiwari said that the total course fees of the first batch students would be around 2.2 lakh rupees. He said that 400 students would get admission in the first batch.

The Centre has got the support from Singapore’s ITEES . Mr Tiwari said that the Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal has given much stress in the skill development sector and various industry leaders have shown interest in this sector.

He said that students would get best of the skill development courses and exposures so that they could meet up the demand of the industry. Mr. Tiwari further said that steps are being taken to set up a Skill city in the state with a cost of around 800 crore rupees.
