‘Chhattisgarh Government aims to employ 70,000 youths by 2022’ : Ajay Chandrakar

Raipur : Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Ajay Chandrakar on Tuesday honoured the organizations, officers and trainees under the Deendayal Upadhyay Skill Development Scheme. Minister Ajay Chandrakar felicitated them while attending a convention in the Indoor Stadium. In his speech to the gatherings, Minister encouraged the youths to progress with zeal and added that they are realising the dream of Deendayal Upadhyay.

With right direction and skill to the youths, India could become far better than other nations. Prime Minister’s slogan of Skill India and Chief Minister ratifying it into legal right has given youths the wing to fly high.

Government has set a target to employ 70,000 youths after enhancing their skills till 2022. It will help fighting poverty and give youths a way to the bright future. Governments are running schemes like Mudra Loan, Startup India, Stand-up India, and Start-up Chhattisgarh for young generations.

Panchayat and Rural Development Department Principal Secretary P C Mishra also addressed the programme, saying they have to provide training to 70,000 youths in next 3 years. Meanwhile, 22,400 youths have already been trained whereas 5,500 are receiving training at 51 centres.

Panchayat and Rural Development Department Additional Chief Secretary R P Mandal, Director Panchayat Jitendra Shukla, Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana (Rural) Director Amrit Vikas Topno, Joint Mission Director VP Tirki and representatives & trainees of centres were present.
