CM reviewed preparations of “Global Employment Skill Partnership Summit” going to be held in July at Bhopal

Bhopal : Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviewed preparations of Global Employment Skill Partnership Summit at Vidhan Sabha on Thursday. The summit will be held in the first week of July at Bhopal to explore employment opportunities.

About 1500 participants are expected to take part in the summit. Minister of State for Technical Education Deepak Joshi, Chairman Madhya Pradesh Rozgar Nirman Board Hemant Vijayrao Deshmukh and Chief Secretary BP Singh were present on the occasion.

CM Chouhan told the officials to make summit such a platform where unemployed should get job opportunities and employers should get information about availability of workers. Also, provide platform to facilitate dialogues between self –employed, entrepreneurs and financial institutions. Summit should prepare a roadmap towards availability of employment and skilled human resources.

He also reviewed other arrangements on the occasion.

It was informed that Summit will be organised by Madhya Pradesh Rozgar Nirman Board whereas Technical Education department will be made Nodal department. Different sessions on subjects like institutions being run in the state for skill development, human resources availability, areas of employment opportunities, financial assistance etc. will be held. Over 50 companies will take part in the summit.

In addition, memorandum of understandings (MoUs) will be signed with Women and Child Development, Tourism, Higher Education, Technical Education and Skill Development, Commerce-Industries and Employment and other departments for employment availability during the summit.
