NFTC and Travinspire launched campaign “Experience Bharat” to support Skill India through tourism and hospitality development

Delhi: In line with the vision of Incredible India of our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Sh.Narendra Modi to boost the Tourism sector and Skill India Mission, an Indian led Dubai based startup Travinspire joined hands with National Federation of Tourism and Transport Co-operatives of India (NFTC) to launch campaign “ExperienceBharat”.

Addressing the audience, Mr.Sandeep Marwah, Managing Director of  NFTC, and Founder of Noida Film City highlighted the scope of 14 lakh crore tourism sector having immense opportunities for skilled workforce.

Tourism being one of the most labour intensive industry, people from different skillsets are required. Thereby by targeting increased tourism flow to the nation, the campaign enables the creation of employable skills among youth belonging to economically weaker sections of the society in the age group of 18- 35 years with the basic objective to reduce the skill gap affecting the hospitality and tourism sector and to ensure the spread of economic benefit of tourism to the poor, he said.

He also highlighted the importance of aligning the medical, media and mass communication and sports sectors with tourism in order to meet the increasing travelers. Skill Development in respective sectors along with tourism would be of great help to meet the quality expectations of foreign travelers, he added.

Gaurang Harit, Founder, Travinspire and campaign leader “Experience Bharat” while speaking to SkillReporter shared his vision to bring million jobs in tourism sector. He also shared his future plans to launch skill training programs for specific needs of tourism and hospitality sector in line with NSDC accredited skill councils.

Mr.Harish Saini, Chief Operating Officer, ExperienceBharat told how the the campaign is going to hit two targets, the development of Tourism sector and the poverty alleviation through employment generation in India.

  The launch ceremony at NCUI complex was attended by more than 100 dignitaries from Tourism and Indian Cinema sector.
