Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner, Shabir Ahmed Batt, today convened a meeting of District level RSETI Advisory Committee of Jammu and Kashmir Rural Self Employment Training Institute to review the performance of the Institute.
A detailed discussion was held on performance and activities of the Institute including entrepreneurship awareness programmes in liaison with other supporting agencies like KVIB / DCI etc, approval of claim for reimbursement of training expenses and post training evaluation report.
Director RSETI, Ashok Kumar Koul, informed that out of target of training 375 candidates during the financial year 2015-2016 338 candidates were trained. Besides, during the current financial year the Institute is going to train 359 candidates by organizing 14 training programme.
Underscoring the need for career oriented training, Deputy Commissioner exhorted upon the Institute to improve the percentage of the settlement and reach higher levels in the days to come. He stressed upon the officials of the RSETI to take up necessary steps to improve the performance of institute during the current financial year by taking prompt steps to organize Entrepreneurship Awareness programme covering the entire district. Additional District Developmental Commissioner, GS Chib, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Paramjeet Singh besides other officers attended the meeting.
