Panaji : The Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Goa, in collaboration with various Sector Skill Councils will organize a ‘Skill Development Workshop’ on April 20, 2018, at Multipurpose Hall, Sanskruti Bhavan, Directorate of Art & Culture, in the city.
According to a statement here on Thursday, Chief Executive Officers (CEO’s) of Retail, IT, Tourism, Health, Logistics, Agriculture and Electronics sectors will share their expertise in skill development during the workshop. The purpose of the workshop is to identify skill development opportunities in Goa with the support of Sector Skills Councils. The Principals, Teachers from Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Medical, Pharmacy Colleges, Polytechnics and Goa University will be attending the workshop. The workshop will commence with a panel discussion on ‘Skill Development in Goa: Current Status & Way Forward’. During the afternoon session there would be an Open Forum on ‘Synergies between Sector Skill Councils and Institutions or Departments in Goa.
