Goa could be international hub for skill development : Rane

Panaji: Goa has the potential to be an international hub for skill development in the country, said minister for skill development and entrepreneurship Vishwajit Rane here on Friday. Rane said that he has already spoken to chief minister Pramod Sawant and officials at the Prime Minister’s office. “We want to make Goa an international skill hub as a result of which we have exchanged a letter of intent,” Rane said.

The minister said that several nations, such as Maldives, were keen on sending their youth to India for training. “I have written to the central government that we want to partner to have an international skill hub in Goa with National Skill Development Corporation,” Rane said.
