Chandigarh : Haryana Governor, Satyadeo Narain Arya on Monday urged all the Higher educational institutions to also include skill development subjects according to the interest of students besides the academic courses so as to make youth employable after completing their education.
The Governor was interacting with Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education Department, Jyoti Arora, here.
He said that besides quality education, the focus of educational institutions should be on job oriented courses which would help the students to easily get employment after completing the course.
He said that today there is a need to impart value based education to the youth which would bring change in their thinking towards nation-building and nationalism. He said that a meeting of vice-chancellors of state universities would soon be held, to review the infrastructural facilities, academic and administrative activities being conducted by the universities.
