Gurugram: After setting up skills centre in Sector-44 of the city, the Haryana government has now collaborated with a private company to provide skill development in the field of plumbing.
A three-year graduation course, a first of its kind course, will be started to enhance the skill of plumbers and other workers. Moreover, the graduates will also be employed in the private company. With job creation being a major issue in Haryana, the state government is now laying emphasis on opening multiple skill centres in Gurugram, the richest district of the state.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has raised the significance of micro, small and medium scale enterprises in absorbing the growing number of job aspirants.
