Chandigarh : In order to provide the registered youth with skill training in various trades, Haryana Skill Development Mission today signed Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with five sector skill councils and Haryana Vishwakarma Skill University (HVSU) under Saksham Yuva Yojana.
The first level target of Skill Development is to impart training to 30800 youths and the main five trades include Telecom, Agriculture, Electronics, Apparel and Life Sciences.
Vice-Chancellor, HVSU, Raj Nehru had recently apprised Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar with various new programs of skill university and skill mission. He said in the next session, the University would begin 10 industry integrated new programmes, and Mission would provide skill training to 50,000 capable youths by the end of this year.
Signing of five MoUs is the first step in this direction, under which, 30,800 capable youths would be provided skill training in 37 trades.
