IIT Guwahati came forward for training under ‘Skill India’

Guwahati (Assam) : Under Skill India Initiative, India has exhibited a focused approach toward technical education by setting up an E&ICT (Electronics and Information, Communication Technology) Academy at IIT Guwahati for skill development for the graduating students. The assessment and certification will be done by E&ICT Guwahati.

Under these programmes, all key stakeholders of the knowledge delivery ecosystem, primarily-government, industry, training providers and academia are working in a coherent and focused approach. The primary objective of the academy is to provide training programme on industry-specific processes and best practices to the young generation, stated a press release here today.

As an empanelled member of the academy, Damyant Software is conducting a training programme from December 7 to 12 at IIT Guwahati on Mobile Application Development. The training programme has been designed keeping in mind the current industry requirements in mobility segment. Mobility has been the core focus of most enterprises across several verticals. Damyant Software trains on industry specific processes and best practices, to make faculty and students hands-on in this specialty, where the quality of the programme is monitored by IIT Guwahati.

Registration is open from November 21. Participants may log on to E&ICT, IIT Guwahati website and fill up the application form or can send scanned copy of the filled-up form to eictacad@iitg.ernet.in andinfo@damyant.com. It needs mention here that skill development is a multi-level, multi-party initiative, involving a large number of participants.
