Kashmir University’s Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) is inviting application for a skill development training programme in automobile engineering to be conducted at Rahim Automobile Institute, Rangreth. The programme is sponsored by J&K Bank under its CSR component.
“We have imparted training to four batches so far and most of the candidates are working in different units and some have opened their own service stations,” said CEO Rahim Motors Abdul Hamid.
It is a four-month-long skill development training programme in ‘Automobile Training- Basic, Advanced & Diagnostic’.
In the programme, students would be trained in automobile repairing covering areas including basics of automobiles, general automobile repairing and servicing, MPFI system, sensors and electric controlled models, LPG kits, automatic transmission hard and soft skills etc, a statement issued here said. The programme will commence on October 1.
