Many nations tied up with Indian govt to provide employment to skilled Indian youths: Skills Minister Hegde

Dharwad : Union minister of state for skill development and entrepreneurship Ananth Kumar Hegde said the Prime Minister’s Koushalya Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) was receiving good response and many nations had come forward to have understanding with India to provide employment to youths from India.

Speaking after distributing certificates to youths who had undergone skill development training under PMKVY at Suvarna Arts and Commerce College here on Saturday, he said that the government is planning to set up training centres in rural areas and had a tie-up with 18 countries. Sweden has come forward to provide employment to 22,000 skilled youths and Japan wants 33,000 skilled youths from India, he said.
