Telangana : In a move to generate employment in rural areas, army personnel who are nearing retirement will receive skill development training through Khadi Gramudyog Maha Vidyalaya (KGMV).
The decision was taken after a representation from Colonel CM Thimanna along with army officials of Trimulgherry EME centre to the TS Khadi & Village Industries Board’s (TSKVIB) Chairman, Md Yousuf Zahid on Wednesday.
The representation sought for training under Village Industries Schemes that are implemented through TSKVIB & KVIC under the PMEGP scheme in order to make the ex-army officials self-reliant.
