Bhopal : Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development and Employment Generation Board (MPSSDEGB) and Department of Technical Education and Skill Development are organizing World Skills India competition from April 24. Giving the aforesaid programme, Principal Secretary, Technical Education and Skill Development, Sanjay Bandopadhyaya and Chairman of MPSSDEGB, Hemant Deshmukh informed that world skill development is organized in every two years in selected countries of world and its aim is to recognize the skills of talented youths. In year 2017, it was organized in Abu Dhabi. This year in Madhya Pradesh, this event is jointly supported by Ministry of Skill Development, National Skill Development Corporation, Directorate General of Training and CRISP.
Hemant Deshmukh said that efforts are to register more and more candidates for competition and around 1000 candidates have been registered and it is being hoped that this figure will touch 5000 on last date of registration i.e April 17. After successful competition, qualified candidates will participate in competition to be organized in Russia in 2019. There are total 52 trade in competition and Madhya Pradesh youths will be participating in 22 trades. Bandhopadyaya told that competition shapes the talent and even an uneducated talented youth can participate in it.
