Aurangabad : The Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture’s startup incubation-wing Marathwada Accelerator for Growth and Incubation Council (MAGIC) and Indo-German Tool Room (IGTR) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Wednesday to boost skill development opportunity for the youth of the region.
MAGIC is a business incubator recognised by Maharashtra state innovation society for supporting startups and accelerating growth of small and medium enterprises in Marathwada while the IGTR is an institution promoted by ministry of micro, small and medium enterprises.

Ashish Garde, MAGIC director, said the MoU aims to promote and develop activities between two incubators and to build startup eco-system in the region. “As part of the agreement, budding startups under the care of MAGIC who require infrastructure can use the facilities available at the IGTR and in turn the outreach of IGTR can be enhanced,” he said.
Sharing innovative concepts and programmes for startups and entrepreneurship development, industry-academia interactions, sharing of intellectual expertise for enabling startups and students to explore starting their own venture and bringing of relevant technology to nurture the regional industrial growth are the key aspects of the three-year MoU.
The agreement was signed at the CMIA office in presence of CMIA vice-president Kamlesh Dhoot, CMIA ex-president Prasad Kokil, IGTR MD Hemant Kapse and other senior faculties.
