Chandigarh : After the success of the first state level job fair, the Punjab government has decided to organize the second state-level job fair across the state from February 20 to March 10.
Technical Education Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Friday announced the programme of the second state level job fair presiding over a meeting with the senior officials of the department and the representatives of the private universities.
The Minister said the state government has increased ambit of the job fair, besides the technical education department, the department of higher education, medical education, employment generation and skill development mission is also participating in the event this year.
Mr Channi said these job fairs would be organized by the government industrial training institutes, government polytechnic colleges and private universities.
He directed the officials of the department to set up a Help Desks at the government ITIs and Polytechnic Colleges to provide help for applying online for the Job fair.
