Jaipur : The Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU), Jaipur announced its partnership with Forsk Technologies to utilize its expertise in project based learning in higher education. Under this partnership, Forsk Technologies will assist BSDU as knowledge partner, to develop, promote and deliver BSDU’s M.Voc. program in embedded systems & IoT skills and B.Voc. Program in Machine learning and AI skills which are both due to start in July 2018.
Mr. Jayant Joshi, President Trustee of BSDU says, “The Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU) works on a unique concept of building dual system of skills education (Swiss Dual System) where major focus remains on practical industrial training along with theory. The objective of bringing in the dual system of education is to make students ‘job ready’ unlike the conventional education system. While we are committed in our vision and mission of skill development, MoUs with industrial partners will strengthen such contribution of BSDU to the Skill India Initiative.”
Dr. Sylvester Fernandes of Forsk Technologies says, “Internet of Things – from smart home devices to connected cars – will transform e-commerce and allow it to stretch across the breadth of the customer journey – from awareness to intent, to purchase. By 2020, as many as 5 connected objects per Smartphone user will be a new normal. As Jaipur is also going to become smart city, IoT training in Jaipur will help students to learn this new domain and build a career.”
Brig. (Dr.) S.S. Pabla, President of BSDU says, “At BSDU, we train our students on the latest technologies prevalent in the industry. With this MoU, we want to empower our students for the future which lies with Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence. Because Forsk is providing project based learning, our students will have an opportunity to put their creativity in play and get real time experience of working for projects. Our aim is to create a talent pool of students under our B.Voc and high end expertise under M.Voc program.”
Association with Forsk Technologies will provide the students a unique opportunity to work with an industry exposure and have a project based learning with a lot of hands-on experience, he added.
