Jammu: A programme for light motor vehicle course, conducted by SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI-RSETI) Jammu concluded at Bantalab on Wednesday in which 26 candidates from different parts of Jammu District participated.
On the occasion, a function was organised in which certificates of participation were distributed by Parbhat Singh Jamwal, Branch Manager, JKB Bantalab Jammu. He interacted with candidates and guided them for taking maximum advantage of various state government self employment schemes. He also stressed upon them to take benefit of MUDRA scheme for self employment. He also assured them that every possible help/guidance will be extended to them for addressing the difficulties faced by them in starting/ running their business ventures.
Director, RSETI, Tilak Raj stated that many training programmes would be conducted by RSETI depending upon local requirements and programmes like -cutting and tailoring, A.C and refrigeration, electrical home appliance, computer basics, soft toys making, beauty parlor management , computer hardware and DTP etc.
After completion of course institution also helps entrepreneurs for credit linkage with financial institutions of their areas, for their settlement. Mohinder Kumar, Financial Literacy Counselor, Jammu also motivated the candidates about self employment. Vote of thanks was delivered by Sheetal, Faculty SBI RSETI Jammu.
