Raipur: All government and private colleges in Chattisgarh will start skill development courses from this academic session. Dr C V Raman University has been selected as the resource centre for skill development courses and Pandit Deendayal Kaushal Kendra will run all the courses of skill development for session 2016-17.
Dr C V Raman University registrar Shailesh Pandey told that skill development courses have been started to change demographic profile of the state so that youth can seek jobs of their own interest while studying. 530 government and private colleges can now introduce skill development courses. “Students can opt for these courses while pursuing their regular courses. Courses including B.Voc. in telecommunications, B.Voc in retail management, IT and manufacturing have been started”.
