Bhopal : Biggest solar power plant of Asia has been established in Neemuch and biggest solar power plant of the world is being established in Rewa. Surya Mitra will get better placement opportunities in these power plants. Minister of State for Technical Education (Independent Charge), School and Labour Deepak Joshi said this at the inauguration of Surya Mitra Skill Development programme at CRISP. This training programme is being sponsored by National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE). Under the programme, 90 per cent placement of surya mitra is must.
Joshi dedicated one kilowatt solar power plant and electrical laboratory established at CRISP for the training of the students. Joshi mentioned that maximum pollution free solar energy will be utilized in the coming time. He said that solar energy can be utilized for 8 months in a year in the state.
Minister of State for Technical Education said that surya mitra training programmes will be conducted in ITIs and Polytechnics too. This training programme has been conducted in polytechnic colleges of Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Ujjain and Gwalior and also in ITI Rewa.
This training programme will be organized at ITI Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore and Jablapur shortly. Placement certificates will be provided by the NISE after assessment and training of Surya Mitra. On the basis of the certificate, students can be absorbed in jobs anywhere. Joshi said that he will review training report every month and he will arrange a meeting of surya mitra with the chief minister.
CEO of CRISP Mukesh Sharma informed that 3 months training will be imparted to 30 trainees and free accommodation and food facility is being provided to them. He further said that full co-operation will be given for their placement.
General Manger of Urja Vikas Nigam Anup Garg informed that students of ITIs and Polytechnics have been selected for training. He further said that state holds third position in surya mitra training programme in the country and we have to achieve first position by expanding training programme.
He informed that a proposal to hold training programme in 12 ITIs and 12 Polytechnics were sent to the union government and 5 each from these institutions have been sanctioned.
He further added that Rs 12.84 lakh grant is given by the union government for 600 hours training. To prepare 4000 surya mitra in 5 years is the aim of the union government. Trainees Himanchala Pandey and Dhananjay Shukla also shared their experiences.
