Chennai : Ma Foi Strategic Consultants has signed an MoU with the Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women (TNCDW) to become the strategic knowledge partner for implementation of schemes by Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Mission (TNSRLM).
TNCDW was established with the prime objective of bringing about socio-economic development and empowerment of women, and TNSRLM executes skill development program under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY).
DDU-GKY aims at tackling rural poverty through skill development and livelihood promotion for rural youth. Through a state wide network of approved implementing agencies, TNSRLM will help provide skilled work force to train rural youth in various sector job roles by imparting necessary soft skills, English language skills, digital and hospitality skills.

Ma Foi will work closely with TNSRLM to provide skills training and promote livelihood for rural youth of Tamil Nadu. Ma Foi partnering organizations who employ the certified candidates from DDU GKY program of TNSRLM will also ensure a defined career progression plan as per their respective company policies, a statement from the company said.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Karthiga IAS, MD, TNSRLM, and Ganesh Kanna, COO, DDUGKY Tamil Nadu. This MoU is a prestigious landmark as it allows us to leverage TNCDW’s strong foot hold in rural Tamil Nadu which enables us to deliver quality training and skill development programs designed to meet the needs of today’s rural youth,” Hemalatha Rajan, director, Ma Foi Strategic Consultants, said.
