Hyderabad : Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), MP from Nizamabad, K. Kavitha, on Friday said the Telangana Jagruthi has opened 17 centres in order to provide employment to the youth.
“In order to give employment to the youth of Telangana, the Telangana Jagruthi has opened 17 centres here. The centres are functioning under the monitoring of the Government of India. The Telangana Jagruti will always be ready to take up schemes for the ‘Yuva Mahila’. The Telangana Jagruthi Skill Development centre will always be ready to serve the youth of Telangana,” Kavitha told the media here after jointly inaugurating the Telangana Jagruthi Skill Development centre in Ashok Nagar, Hyderabad, with Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Pratap Rudy.
Talking about the Telangana Jagruthi Skill Development centre, Rudy said the job of such organisations is basically to mobilize those people, who are school dropouts and who could not afford training.
“We are not talking about very high-end jobs. We are basically talking about those people who are at entry level jobs. There is a huge demand for entry level jobs. Out of this 12,000 crores which has been sanctioned by the Prime Minister for the ‘Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra’, 25 percent of this money will go directly to the state. The allocation is 100 percent,” he added.
Rudy appealed to the MP and ministers that if the states could submit project under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), the Government of India would be more than willing to support that programme.
