Hyderabad : Tata STRIVE and Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) signed an agreement to partner on coaching the college lecturers and to offer youth skill development courses based on industry needs.
Anita Rajanm chief operating officer, Tata STRIVE, said “This partnership with TASK will help empower youth by strengthening their employability and entrepreneurship opportunities.” It focuses on technical and non-technical skills with an emphasis on practical experience for enhancing productivity, imbibing quality and ensuring safety. It has created a technology platform that manages the skilling value chain from registration to placement of a student.
Sujiv Nair, chief executive officer, TASK, said the partnership focuses on enhancing facilitation skills for faculty that will enhance their teaching impact and specific skill courses in the auto, banking, financial and insurance sectors and BPO sectors.
TASK was established by the Government of Telangana, for youth skill development and enhance the synergy among institutions of Government, industry and academia. Over 500 colleges in the Telangana state are registered with TASK and it offers skilling programs for students and faculty in line with industry requirement.
