BSF promised of extending help to bordering people: Inaugurated skill development centre

Ambassa : Tripura Inspector General for Border Security Force (BSF) Hemant Kumar Lohia has asserted that the force will always stand by the bordering people while jointly inaugurating a skill development centre with his wife Modhu Lohia in the remote Reang Basti area in the bordering subdivision of Kamalpur in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here today.”

The IG and his wife along with other officials have arrived here to inaugurate the sewing training centre as part of skill development endeavour.

In his short speech delivered in local Bengali language he has asserted, “The BSF is trying to develop the condition of the bordering people. Hence, the efforts are on to bring change in the life of them. As its part the skill development centre has been started here”. Later interacting with the media persons he has informed. Now local youths will be provided pre-recruitment training as shortly there is a chance of recruiting 5000 youths from Tripura.

Moreover, border crime has been reduced. Recently BSF has seized 26 crore of drugs from the bordering areas.” In the programme hundreds of local people have participated.
