“Anyone can approach the centre and enrol themselves directly. Training partners are conducting mobilisation drives in the villages. Anyone can avail the service as there is no cost to be paid by candidate. Funding will be under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) scheme,” said Bhooshan.

According to the CEO, the training will last from three to six months. “Even as companies are directed to provide employment to the local youths, training from these centres will help them find better placements. Also, companies engaged in manufacturing and production can give suggestions related to the courses. The centres have been directed to start operations by August 10,” said Bhooshan.

The centres will train youths in about 10 fields in the first phase, including automotive, customer relationship, electrical technician and mobile handset repairing.
