New Delhi : Government of Uttar Pradesh has signed a skill development agreement with mobile handset company Lava International Ltd. The agreement was signed by Uttar Pradesh Minister of Technical Education and Skill Development Mehboob Ali and Managing Director of Lava International Hari Om Rai.
Under the agreement the company will provide technical and professional training to the youth that will enable them to get jobs.
Chief Minister (CM) of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav said that the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission is making efforts to provide new avenues and opportunities for the youth through specialized placements agencies not only in the state but also in other parts of the country.
CM Yadav also said that the government of Uttar Pradesh will encourage companies that will provide training to the youth to increase their employability. Lava International has announced that over the next four years the company will provide professional and technical training to about 10,000 youngsters.
The initiatives of the Uttar Pradesh government is part of the overall Skill Development initiative undertaken by the government of India that aims at providing the required training to the youth of the country so that the demographic dividend that India has doesn’t go waste.
