New Delhi : This is further to the Notice on Temporary Hold on RPL Proposals under PMKVY (2016-20) dated 22 Dec 17.
Since then certain amendments in the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana – Recognition of Prior Learning ( PMKVY RPL ) Guidelines have been done to add two new types of RPLs – RPL with Best in Class Employers and RPL at PMKK Centers through Demand Aggregation Portal. A compendium of all the instructions related to different types of RPL is available at www.pmkvyofficial.org.
RPL with Best in Class Employers has gained immense support and traction as it provides a very cost effective method of recognition of skills in organized sector. The major thrust of RPL henceforth will be through RPL with Best in Class Employers.
RPL Type 1 (Camp Mode), RPL Type 2 (Employer’s premises) and RPL Type 3 (PMKVY Centers) are being positioned to primarily support upskilling/ reskilling for central government schemes, state governments, government institutes/ organisations, significant issues like doubling/ increasing of farmer income etc.
Therefore, the temporary hold on accepting the new RPL Type 1,2 and 3 proposals and processing of the existing proposals as communicated vide the Notice dated 22 Dec 17 will continue. Any change in the status as communicated through the Notice dated 22 Dec 17, will be posted on the PMKVY website and initially the projects already in pipeline with NSDC will be processed before accepting new proposals. The Competent Authority may provide any suitable modification/deviation as required.
