V.V. Giri National Labour Institute would be organizing an Training Programme on Enhancing Employability & Entrepreneurship among Women

About The Programme:

The programme aims at putting increasing emphasis on enhancing the skills in general and women in particular for enhancing employability, entrepreneurship thereby increasing economic activities and to facilitate decent employment, inclusive growth and sustainable development. This training programme has been specially designed for Development Professionals, Faculties, Students and Research Scholars from Universities, Government Officers, Trainers/Instructors from Vocational and Skill Development Institutes, Entrepreneurs, Young Professionals, NGOs & Training Institutes. The details of the program are attached for your perusal.

Aim: The programme aims at putting increasing emphasis on enhancing the skills in general and women in particular for enhancing employability, entrepreneurship thereby increasing economic activities and to facilitate decent employment, inclusive growth and sustainable development.

Objectives: 

• Understand the world of work, decent Work, future of work and the gender dimension
• Situate the importance of skill for employability, entrepreneurship in general and women in particular.
• Familiarize the participants with skill development, career advancement avenues and initiatives.
• Discuss appropriate strategies and Effectiveness of skill development in the informal sector occupations. Enable the participants to play larger role along with enhancing individual capacity

Course Details: Understand Work Dynamics, Decent Work and Future of Work and the gender aspect, Skill, Technology and Women, Women and the Green Economy, Skills for Employment, Employability, Productivity, Human Development& Inclusive Growth, Self- Employment and Entrepreneurship, Creative and Social Entrepreneurship, Policy Response and Skill Development Initiatives, Case Study/Good Practices, Employability Skills.

Methodology: Lecturer Audio Visual Presentations, Group Works. Simulation & Role Play Case Studies, Good Practice and Field Visit

Who Can Participate? Master Degree Students/ Scholars from Universities and Institutes and Young Professionals. 

Program Fee: There is no programme fee.

Reimbursements: The Institute would provide free boarding and lodging facility and will reimburse to and fro Second Class Sleeper train fare on production of tickets to the participants. The reimbursement of travel fare to the nominees would be made through NEFT only. The nominee(s) may be informed to bring their Aadhar Card and bank details (name of bank, name of bank branch, IFSC code and bank account no.) with them. The bank details may be indicated by nominee while filling up TA form at the institute. All the nominees may be informed accordingly.

Application Procedure: The interested and eligible organizations can nominate 4-5 participants from their institutions.

• The nominations of only those participants will be accepted who have Aadhar number and bank account.
